DHR Manager / Assistant HR Director

Mission & role

The Post holder assists effectively HCA HR Director in the implementation of HR processes, policies and projects in HCA BU.

Responsibilities

HR Administration:

  • Contract administration, including Contract follow-up, prolongations and terminations expats and HO
  • Follow up expat policies
  • Administrate recruitment and employment procedures
  • Provide HR Support & Services to expatriates in Africa
  • Contribute to different HR Projects
  • Administrate HR web portal ( HR Globe)
  • Implements human resources programs by providing human resources services, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention, and labor relations.
  • Develops human resources solutions by collecting and analyzing information; recommending courses of action.
  • Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
  • Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
  • Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Requirements

  • University Degree in HR-relevant area
  • 5 years of HR work, preferably with leader responsibility
  • Fluent in English and French written and spoken
  • Hands on/practical
  • Work independently and efficiently
  • Good communication skills, Business Presentation skills , Administrative and business writing
  • Be a self-starter , a team player , detail-oriented and flexible.
  • Be innovative individual with ideas that can help to improve the department and the organization.
  • Software knowledge: Strong computer skills, experience with Microsoft Office software.
  • Able to work on pressure, and over worked hours
  • Experience on Performance Management, Training Management, Maintaining Employee Files, , Resolving Conflict, Employment Law, Project Management, Office Experience –
